Audience Production
My target audience research including asking different groups of my friends what they like about my products as I developed them and asking them what they liked about the magazines I researched the codes and conventions of. My research of the codes and conventions that the target audience like found that simpler covers with less sell lines and more modern fonts are more appealing. They liked the covers of more fashioned based magazines like Wonderland and ID which is why I based much of my designs on their house styles. I also found that the target audience are more likely to read fashion based magazines rather than entertainment magazines like People, Entertainment and Hollywood Reporter, so by using some of the codes and conventions of fashion magazines this new magazine is more likely to attract the target audience.
